The art is more or less the same as the previous Part 1 of Season 2 and the arts are pretty consistent throughout. 

Character arts are solid and drop in quality are hard to notice or are only on characters that are in a distance. they look good even amidst the battle.

Backgrounds are fairly detailed and pleasant looking as always with suiting colour and design for different scenes.

There is surprisingly very little choreography in fights throughout the anime until the end. The fight at the end is pretty thrilling to watch. The combat animations are mostly smooth and all the spells effects look excellent throughout the anime.

Not a lot of heavy character development here, I believe they did it quite well with The Slime Diaries: That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime. However, we got to see how powerful some of Rimuru’s followers have become such as Benimaru, Shuna, Shion, Ranga, Souei, Gobuta and Geld. Most of the characters also add something to the story even though their screen times are spread thin.

The new additional character in physical human form in Part 2 would be Veldora. We got a good look at how much he loves manga, how carefree he is and how powerful he is in a fight. Veldora is a fun character and brings some new dynamics to Rimuru’s team.

We also get to see how and what are other Demon Lords like and a whole lot of Clayman. 

Though if they keep adding new characters, I don’t know how well the author is going to juggle between each character to give them sufficient development and screen time. There are already a couple of characters that got thrown into the story in Part 2 who added almost no value to the story.

The opening song is simply dope and it empowers the viewer. The ending song is chill and easy on the ear but not as memorable.

Overall, the sound section is consistent with the previous Part 1 Season 2 too in terms of quality and memorability.

The background music matches the scene they are played on even though not every one of them is memorable. They do give out the vibe that makes the viewer instantly tell this is from Reincarnated Slime.

The sound effects are solid and voice acting is top-notch as always. The voice actor for Veldora even manages to capture the same vibe of characters in other shounen anime by using his voice.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 2 Part 2 story continues after Part 1 where Rimuru has become a Demon Lord himself.

Veldora is now resurrected in human form and no longer living inside Rimuru and he added an extra dynamic to the story with his character.

Let just say Part 2 have three arcs to make reviewing thing easy. In the very first arc, we got our usual Reincarnated Slime style political meeting between nations but the difference is this time, it will be a bit longer which will span across a couple of episodes. The political aspect is easy to follow and adds quite a bit to the world-building and the current status of the world.

The second arc has a skirmish between the joint force of Jura Tempest and Basketeers vs Clayman's minions. This arc has a nice showcase of power on some of Rimuru’s followers and Clayman’s personality.

The last arc is the “Walpurgis” which is the round table meeting for all the Demon Lords. We get to see what and how other Demon Lords are like and there is a pretty entertaining fight between Clayman and Rimuru team. The amount of other famous shonen anime moves Veldora used in the fight is also hilarious.

The overall positive vibe of the anime is still there but toned down due to politic and Rimuru face an okay-ish decent challenge but not by a long shot.

Reincarnated Slime Part 2, the story focuses more on the nation's politics and the Demon Lords. We also get to know what happens to Milim who previously seem to be under Clayman's control magic and plot twist involving Clayman. All in all, Part 2 is really well done, entertaining and compact.
